1. Who we are
WashApp is an on-demand car wash service connecting customers with independent washers. Data controller: WashApp. Contact: support@washapp-il.com.
2. Data we collect
Account: name, e-mail address, phone number. Vehicles: make, model, colour, licence plate and an optional photo. Washes: service address, chosen GPS location, instructions, before/after photos taken by the washer. Washers: real-time location during missions only. Payment: handled by Stripe — your card number never reaches our servers. Technical: notification tokens, app language, anonymous usage statistics.
3. Why we use it
To deliver the service you ordered (find a washer, carry out the wash, charge you); to ensure quality and settle disputes using the before/after photos; to keep you posted on progress; to improve the app through anonymous statistics; to meet our legal and accounting obligations. We never sell your data.
4. Who we share it with
The washer who accepts your order sees your first name, the wash address, the vehicle concerned and your instructions — what is needed to do the job, nothing more. Our technical processors: Stripe (payment), Supabase (data hosting), Apple/Google (sign-in and notifications). Each one only accesses what it needs.
5. How long we keep it
Your data is kept for as long as your account is active. Deleting your account (Profile → Delete my account) immediately erases your personal data, vehicles, addresses and photos; order history is anonymised (no longer linked to you). Some billing data may be retained for the period required by law.
6. Your rights
You can view and correct your information directly in the app (Profile), delete your account at any time from the app, and exercise your rights of access, portability or objection by writing to support@washapp-il.com.
7. Security
All communications are encrypted (TLS). Data access is restricted by server-side rules: each user can only reach their own data, and a washer can only see a customer for the duration of a shared order.
8. Minors
The service is reserved for people aged 16 and over.
9. Changes
Any change to this policy will be announced in the app before it takes effect.
